The Wise Man on the Mountain

Tirinha de Corey Mohr.

Tira em nove quadros. Q1-Q2: um viajante com cajado escala uma montanha íngreme até o topo, onde há um homem sentado. Q3: o viajante, de costas, diz: “Wise philosopher on the mountain, you have been contemplating the meaning of life for ten years, please enlighten me!”. Q4: o velho de barba longa e túnica verde, sentado de pernas cruzadas, ergue o dedo: “The meaning of life is…”. Q5: abre a mão: “…to contemplate the meaning of life!”. Q6: os dois em silêncio, o viajante com expressão contrariada. Q7: o velho, de braços abertos: “What?”. Q8: o viajante: “Doesn’t it seem a bit convenient for a philosopher to say the meaning of life is doing philosophy?”; o velho aponta para ele: “Whatever, I’d like to see you come up with something better! It’s harder than it sounds.”
