朕 (zhèn) – eu (imperial); componente fonético 力 (lì) – força

Força que supera. O componente 朕, antes de se tornar pronome exclusivo do imperador, significava “sinal, presságio”. Combinado com 力, forma a ideia de força que prevalece. Vitória. O Shuowen define 勝 como 任也, “suportar, ser capaz”.

勝. O significado original é disputado. O Shuowen define como 「任也」 (“suportar, ser capaz”) e o chardb (Academia Sinica) confirma esta como primeira acepção: 能承擔；禁得起 (def. 1). O sentido de “vitória” (勝利；贏) aparece apenas como definição 6 no chardb. O MDBG, pelo contrário, destaca victory/success como sentido primário, e o hanziyuan.net regista “Meaning victory” como significado original — ambos divergem do Shuowen e do chardb. O chardb acrescenta acepções ausentes das outras fontes: 被滅亡的 (def. 10, “ser destruído/conquistado”) e 古代婦女盛妝的首飾 (def. 16, adorno cerimonial feminino). O hanziyuan.net não regista formas em osso de oráculo nem bronze, mas o xiaoxue corrige: há 16 formas, incluindo atestações dos Reinos Combatentes (璽彙0947, 戰國.晉) e selos Qin. Sobre a decomposição, as fontes concordam em 朕 (fonético) + 力.

一. As fontes concordam que se trata de um traço horizontal, sem decomposição. O Shuowen define filosoficamente: 「惟初太始，道立於一，造分天地，化成萬物」 (“no princípio o Dao se estabeleceu no Um e dividiu céu e terra”). O chardb oferece 21 acepções, incluindo usos gramaticais (advérbio, conjunção, partícula) ausentes do MDBG e do hanziyuan.net. O chardb regista também o conceito filosófico antigo (def. 14) como acepção distinta. O xiaoxue lista 14 formas com atestações desde o osso de oráculo da dinastia Shang (鐵148.1) até a escrita clerical do período Han.
