I find it’s better to ask very specific questions than very general questions. Especially when it comes to something like company culture. Most interviewers will provide vague yet positive answers. So rather than ask about what the culture is like, ask things like “how does firm X prevent employee burnout? Or how much time is given for sick/maternity/paternity leave? Or how much overtime is regularly expected? Or ask about how often do you send work email/ texts on weekends?
