How to build your own Raspberry Pi Cluster
Jeff Geerling says he built the Raspberry Pi Dramble cluster in 2014 to test Ansible on cheap bare metal hardware, then moved the site onto the cluster in his basement office in 2015. Because people kept asking how it was built, he is posting a video series that walks through the setup in a visual format.
The first video covers hardware parts and setup, and the second covers microSD card setup and Raspbian OS configuration. He says the videos also support upcoming talks on Drupal 8 and Raspberry Pi, and he expects the series to end up with five or six parts.
Reading notes#

- He is posting a video series called “Let’s Build a Raspberry Pi Cluster” on his YouTube channel.
- The first video covers hardware parts and setup.
- The second video covers microSD card setup and Raspbian OS configuration.
- The videos also serve as background material for talks on Drupal 8 and the Raspberry Pi.
- He says the series will likely have 5 or 6 parts total.
