0to255: fast, intuitive color tools for designers

0to255 pitches itself against the standard slider-based color picker. With over 16 million possible hex codes and much of that space perceptually indistinguishable, fine-tuning a color by dragging sliders wastes time comparing options the eye can’t tell apart anyway.

• The tool replaces sliders with a grid where similar colors are clustered together, so the eye scans toward the right region instead of adjusting values blind.
• The workflow has three steps: pick an approximate color from the grid, refine it against neighboring shades displayed around it, then copy the result in whatever format the project needs.
• A built-in loupe measures contrast ratios directly against the selected color, folding accessibility checks into the same picking step instead of a separate tool.
• The newer version adds support for the Display P3 and OKLCh color spaces.
